Founded in Italy in 1996, OTL ElectroKart has spent more than 30 years dedicated exclusively to the development and manufacturing of electric go-karts. Built at the intersection of design, technology, innovation and real-world application, OTL has helped shape the evolution of modern electric karting around the world.

Throughout those three decades, OTL has remained at the forefront of the electric karting industry while staying true to authentic Italian craftsmanship. From advancements in AC and DC motor technology to battery development, speed control systems and charging solutions, OTL has continuously pushed the industry forward through technologies developed and applied within our own factory. Every kart continues to be hand-assembled with the passion, precision, and attention to detail that define Italian manufacturing.

Today, OTL offers one of the most diverse electric kart lineups in the industry – from the Bambino mini karts for young drivers ages 3 and up, to amusement-focused Recreational models, high-throughput Rental karts and the Race Division lineup built for competitive motorsports environments.

1996 – THE START OF OTL

When the rest of the world was firing up gas engines, OTL went electric. Why? Because they saw the future – zero fumes, zero noise, zero change in profit margin. Clean power. Pure adrenaline.

1996 – RENT D – THE ORIGINAL GAME-CHANGER

The DC-powered Rent D launched OTL into the karting scene with torque and tech pulled from other industries. It was raw, experimental – and it worked.

2001 – RENT DSR – NEXT-LEVEL CONTROL

A full redesign brought AC power, a sleek new frame and a mechanical differential. Built from the ground up for electric performance. This kart didn’t adapt – it evolved.

2004 – MORE THAN JUST ONE RIDE

From that same DNA came the first Junior and Tandem karts, giving families and first-timers a real taste of electric karting.

2006 – THE ELECTRIC RACE BEGINS

The first Race Kart proved electric could go head-to-head with gas. 72 volts of lithium-powered fury that pushed the boundaries and laid the track for the future.

2010 – THE STORM HITS

Enter the OTL Storm – aggressive bodywork, real aero, custom chassis and attitude to match. This wasn’t just a kart, it was a warning shot to the entire industry.

2016 – STORM EFD – WELCOME TO THE FUTURE

Direct-drive, paddle shifters, digital displays and an F1-inspired sound system. The EFD wasn’t just fast – it was an experience years before the competition.

2017 – STORM DUO – TWICE THE THRILL

A dual-seat powerhouse built for driver training and unforgettable passenger laps. It replaced the Tandem and raised the bar.

2020 – SUPERLEGGERO

Engineered for indoor domination with tighter handling, max impact protection, and a punchier motor. Sleek, sharp, and ready for anything.

2021 – EGK + EGK DUO

From that same DNA came the first Junior and Tandem karts, giving families and first-timers a real taste of electric karting.

2023 – E PRO KART – PURE RACING, ELECTRIFIED

Topping 80 mph, rain-ready, lithium-powered, and built on a race-spec chassis. The E Pro Kart didn’t enter the competition — it became the benchmark.

2025 – BAMBINO MINI KART

Built tough for the smallest racers (ages 3–7). With a 10-hour runtime, it’s the most efficient, fun-packed way to get young drivers hooked on speed early.
